The 2016 New York International Auto Show is set to kick off in just a couple days. There has been much hype and speculation swirling around the industry up to this point, but the thing that we're most excited about is the debut of Honda's all-new fuel cell vehicle. Clarity, the five-passenger, hydrogen-powered sedan will feature the most advanced technology available in a fuel cell vehicle (FCV), and will even include the Honda Sensing suite of advanced safety features, and support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

A low and wide aerodynamic stance highlights Clarity's sleek exterior, which will be available in black, white and signature red color schemes. The interior is fully equipped with premium features with intuitive, streamlined controls. A display audio system perfectly integrates smartphone connectivity, offering app-based navigation, streaming audio, voice control capabilities, and a hydrogen station locator.

"We're pleased to be able to offer this first look at the U.S. version of the Clarity Fuel Cell sedan in advance of its market arrival later this year," said John Mendel, executive vice president, Automobile Division, American Honda Motor Co., Inc. "The Clarity Fuel Cell is the first in an expanding portfolio of advanced electrified vehicles from Honda that will create a new pillar in our product lineup."

The 2016 New York International Auto Show begins March 23. Clarity Fuel cell is expected to go on sale before the end of the year, with a starting MSRP of $60,000.
