Here at East Coast Honda, the glorious days of summer are not the only things we are looking forward to at the moment. Just over the horizon is the arrival of the new 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid to our showroom, and we can barely contain our excitement.
The 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid, is a variant of the flagship Accord which has been a smash hit with our customers ever since it joined the current lineup of new Honda models. Now fans of our favorite Japanese automaker can rejoice that there is a new eco-friendly version of this popular sedan that will receive some record fuel mileage and hopefully some industry accolades.
So far, we know that we can expect the engine bay to contain a two-motor sporty hybrid system that comes with Intelligent Multi Mode Drive. That means that the vehicle will have three different ways to allocate the power of the car to maximize efficiency including: EV Drive, Hybrid Drive and Engine Drive.
The new Hybrid Accord will have styling similar to the current version of the sedan but with the inclusion of the Honda hybrid insignia, blue-trimmed light lenses and grille, new wheel design, decklid spoiler, and LED daytime running lights.
