Although for typical United States customers, we can enjoy the 2012 Honda Civic whether it's a sedan or coupe, European drivers can enjoy the Civic as a sedan, coupe or as a roomier hatchback. This inconvenience for American Honda fans has encouraged questions about when Honda may release the Honda Civic hatchback for American drivers. And although Honda hasn't been outright with an answer, East Coast Honda of Myrtle Beach is here to provide some clarification.
Recently, at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, the Japanese automaker provided a confirmation that European drivers would soon be able to drive the Civic in yet another form: as a wagon model. While this option has only officially been confirmed for Europe, we here at East Coast Honda believe that this could also be true for America. Being that the big "H" is developing a new Civic model in the first place, we believe that this is evidence of the company reconsidering how people drive and utilize its vehicles. Essentially, if Honda is rethinking the needs of one segment of drivers, who's to say it won't do the same for another?
To find out if this is true or not, we invite you to stay tuned to our Honda blog here for more updates on the development of the Honda Civic Wagon and the release of the new Civic options. Of course, if you're interested in checking out the available options of the Honda Civic in America, be sure to check out our inventory of new Honda cars here or stop by our car dealership in Myrtle Beach, SC to see the vehicle in person.
