The 2011 Honda Civic has been criticized since before it rolled onto the streets of 8756 A Highway 17 Bypass South. But Honda stands by it's affordable and eco-friendly sedan/coupe. Already, the company is looking towards improving its 2012 model, and is promoting an advanced Honda Civic CNG - Compressed Natural Gas vehicle.
East Coast Honda will be one of many places you can check out this futuristic natural gas powered ride. The car was originally released in the 1990's, and has become more popular due to growing interest in alternative fuels. Honda is the only major auto maker offering such a ride, and they plan on bringing more to the public.
Availability of "fuel" is an issue, but many places across the United States already offer CNG pumps, with many more to come! In fact, 36 states will receive Natural Gas Honda vehicles on their lots soon.
So, what's new on 2012's Civic CNG / NG ? Bluetooth is standard, which is always nice. There's also power-everything, beautiful digital displays, and a strong engine that won't leave you crawling through traffic signs.
The Honda Civic Natural Gas will allow drivers to receive 27 MPG city, and slightly over 30 hwy. "It's a much cleaner burning engine," according to Honda's Jay Guzowski. Starting price comes in at $26,155 for a base model.1
