Honda's long-standing relationship with Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, CA should really come as no surprise to those who know the brand well. Honda has a strong reputation for making reliable and fuel-efficient cars, but the automaker is also legendary for one more thing:
Family vehicles.
In fact, of Kelley Blue Book's 16 Best Family Cars of 2016 list, six models honored were 2016 Honda models, making it the most recognized brand for family-friendly features.
Honda's relationship with the resort every child dreams of visiting began in 2005. Disneyland Resort's Tomorrowland featured Honda's robot ASIMO in a new exhibit, and Honda sponsored several events.
This year, Honda's continues that alliance by sponsoring Autopia -- one of Disneyland Resort's original attractions dating back to 1955. The rail-guided racecars of Autopia already use Honda engines, and will soon be getting modern facelifts.
"The updates to Autopia provide a perfect opportunity to showcase our long-standing relationship with Honda, and we look forward to sharing the attraction with our guests later this year," says Michael Colglazier, president of the Disneyland Resort.
