If there's one thing that Honda is really good at, it's surprises. If there's another, it's pulling the gloves off when it counts and delivering a vehicle that is outstanding in virtually every conceivable way. So when we heard that the brand was previewing the tenth-generation Civic at the New York Auto Show, we were fifty shades of stoked.
The Civic Concept, unveiled last week, showcases the design direction the new Civic sedan, coupe, coupe SI, hatchback and American-spec Type R will take. If your eyebrows rose to the ceiling at the mention of the last two, we're not pulling a late April Fools. Both a five door, and Type R option will be available on Honda's compact when it arrives in showrooms this fall.
