Are you on the market for a new sports car with hybrid power? East Coast Honda in Myrtle Beach, SC has the Honda CR-Z. They're not the only ones who are aware that the CR-Z, hybrid is a finalist for Wheels Car of the Year.
Wheels judge James Whitbourn said CR-Z is "refreshingly pure and enjoyable. Combine the grin factor with the efficiency promised by the hybrid system and there's little doubt the Honda coupe takes the car where it should be going - smaller, lighter, more efficient and more fun."1
Bill Thomas, the editor of Wheels, stated that this years' finalists are the largest range of entrants in their nearly 50-year history.
The Honda CR-Z is competing against 6 other coupes. Each provides a considerable addition to performance driving. However, with a 1.5 liter engine, electric motor, and nickel-metal hydride battery pack, this Honda has a great chance of winning.
Wheels Car of the Year will be declared on January 18.
