Honda Breaking Records with Just Three Cylinders

Our favorite Japanese automaker currently have a vehicle in their home country called the Honda S660 Roadster, a very small sports car, that houses a three-cylinder engine with a small amount of horsepower. However, Honda engineers looked at that engine and decided they could do so much more with it.

So much so, in fact, that they've broken an FIA class land speed record with it! Granted, the three-cylinder 600-cc engine was heavily modified for this particular situation, but it was still an engine with only three cylinders! Putting this engine inside the Honda S-Dream Streamliner - a super-sleek super car that’s designed for speed and little more - it managed to set a new FIA class record of 261.875 miles per hour at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah.

Cool stuff! While we probably won't see this modified engine being used in anything in the new Honda model selection, you'll still discover a load of amazing vehicles at amazing prices. We hope to see you soon and offer you an experience you'll remember for weeks to come.
