Honda Begins Week of Service in North America

"Timed to coincide with the company’s Founder’s Day, which marks the establishment of the first Honda business operation in North America on June 11, 1959, Honda is leveraging its scale and the strong relationships it has with community and business partners to take the Team Honda spirit to the community to help improve the lives of those who live in them."

So reads a Honda press release that announces the start of the Team Honda Week of Service, a week of volunteer work that Honda associates, dealers and suppliers form 41 states, Mexico, and Canada are participating in from June 10th-19th.

"This event is an example of the power of coming together as one team," says said Rick Schostek, Executive Vice President, Honda North America, in the release. "By working with the non-profit organizations in our communities, we hope to make a positive impact for our many neighbors."
